Andy Dollerson’s involvement with music and sound is rich and varied. What started as a love for performing piano has led to sessions for world renowned artists, international tours, composing for award-winning media, and producing talented independent artists from around the globe. 

Born in Poole, England, Andy has immersed himself in music from an early age, studying Piano, Trumpet, and Percussion. He studied for a Degree in Music at Birmingham University, where an enthusiasm for the blending of natural sound, analog synthesis and digital manipulation led to involvement in the Electroacoustic department, where he went on to get a Masters in Electroacoustic composition studying under Jonty Harrison. 

This passion for the blending of organic, analog and digital sound is where Andy now situates himself as he writes for film, television and video game. He utilises Modular Synthesis and sound design alongside more traditional recording of acoustic instruments to create a unique sound palette well-suited for scoring. 

In the mid 2000’s Andy moved to the United States, and started DOsounds music production company with long time collaborator Jake Owen. Their passion is to use their skillset to help independent artists realise their unique sound and passion in their records.
